Our Chaming Guest House & table d'hôtes is situated in the heart of Black Périgord in the valley of the Céou near the beaches of the Dordogne river, between the terraced gardens of Marqueyssac, the Castles of Castelnaud, The Milandes, Beynac, the medieval city of Domme, la Roque Gageac and Sarlat a classified city worldwide known for art and history.
The Périgord is the International Pole of the Prehistory and has the most beautiful realizations of the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. The valley of Vézère has some of the richest sites of the European prehistory (Paleolithic sites, caves, and natural shelters). There are fifteen sites classified by Unesco in the World Heritage of the Humanity. The river of the Dordogne flows between majestic cliffs of limestone, through forests of green oaks, and the landscape is made up of quaint villages and castles.
